Patrons attending a recent wine event organised at the Chamber of Commerce, in Valletta, were treated to a unique taste of Lebanon, courtesy of Attard & Co. Foodstuffs Ltd (Wines and Spirits Division).
Wines from the Chateau Kefraya range were used to whet the palate of wine lovers who had the chance to sample the undiscovered taste of Lebanese wine. The Les Breteches wine, a blend of 80% Cinsaut, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Grenache and 7% Carignan, made sure guests kept coming back for more.
As they sipped and chatted, guests commented on its great taste, complemented by the aroma of black cherry compote and ripe cassis. Keeping the same theme throughout, Attard & Co. Ltd also provided some mouth-watering Lebanese dishes, namely hummus, baba ghanouj and tahini – taratour, which blended in perfectly with the atmosphere.
The event was organised by the Chamber for its members and friends in order to give importers and distributors a chance to showcase their wines. The evening was a great success, thanks to the Chamber and organiser Johanna Calleja.
Attard & Co. Ltd would like to thank all those who attended, as well as those who were involved in the planning of the event. It was a remarkable evening.
