MOC Gala Dinner
The MOC sports awards held on the 12th December 2006 was an event certainly not to be missed. The event was organized to congratulate athletic acheivment as well as to motivate all those within the athletic scene.
The Gala night included an array of entertainment followed by a 15 Litre bottle of Jacquart Champagne served chilled, literally straight from an ice bucket. The large, and may I add, heavy bottle was served by three members of the MOC namely Mr. Justice Lino Farrugia Sacco, MOC President, Joseph Cassar, MOC Secretary General and Mr. Pippo Psaila, MOC Director of Sport and Chairperson MOC Sports Awards Organising Committee. The night then unfolded into a pleasurable evening with the help of Chilean Gato Negro wines of San Pedro. The event was sponsored by Attard & Co, as it has always done, reinforcing its support for the welfare of Maltese athletes as well as the Malta Olympic Committee’s efforts in its backing and assistance to the athletes.
