Xara Palace wine tasting and Dinner with MASI Wines

Last March 2009 Attard & co Foodstuffs Ltd. in collaboration with Xara Palace have organized a wine tasting and Dinner at the renowned De Mondion Restaurant on the launch of Masi Agricola wines in Malta. Export manager for Masi Agricola wines Cindy Bizet briefly introduced Masi Agricola, the seven wines which were tasted were ‘Levarie’ Soave Classico, ‘Masianico’ Pinot Grigio - Verduzzo, Possessioni Bianco, Possessioni Rosso, Campfiorin, Costasera Amarone and Casal dei Ronchi Recioto Classico.

A sumptuous four course meal, prepared by Executive Chef Kevin Bonello and his team were all accompanied by a MASI wine to match.

The history of Masi Agricola is the history of its vineyards around Verona, in the Venetian region. The name derives from ‘Vaio dei Masi, the little valley acquired in the late 18th century by the Bosciani family, who retains ownership to this day.
The corporation has grown step by step through successive carefully considered purchases in the finest viticultural areas of the Venetian region. Masi Agricola is also involved in the management of the most historic property in Valpolicella, which has belonged to the noble Serego Alighieri family, descendants of the poet dante, since 1353. In recent times Masi Agricola has developed latest projects in Argentina and in association with Serego Alighieri, in Tuscany.
